The rehabilitation programmes of Projecte Home Balears are free of charge and have free access. They are financed by grants and help from different organizations, private enterprise and subscribing members. In order to guarantee financial transparency, each year we submit our accounts to an external audit, undertaken by the firm of Ernst & Young.
Although we keep running costs to the lowest levels, optimising management in all areas in order to dedicate all resources to the foundations objectives, the financial resources are not sufficient.
Different European governments, aware of the lack of public resources in certain areas of social need, attempt to encourage the collaboration of businesses and private persons. In Spain this movement materialised with the “Ley del Mecenazgo” 49/2002 23rd of December, which defines the fiscal incentives that can benefit businesses and private persons who collaborate with non-profit-making organisations be it with money, in kind, or services by increasing their deductions in “Impuesto de Sociedades to 35% of the donation.
Aware, as we are, of the interest and sensitivity that private enterprise shows in social affairs, we facilitate the development of their corporate social responsibility plan and collaboration with our organisation by offering, in turn, our services in prevention of addictions (tobacco, alcohol and drugs in general) in the workplace and the home.
Information on aid received is available in our publications, web-site and other media.
